LNAT coaching online for UK law admissions
Live online LNAT classes led by Daniel Jones, Kaplan Master Trainer and our LNAT specialist. We prepare students in India and abroad for law at Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, KCL, UCL, Durham and other LNAT universities.
What is the LNAT?
The LNAT (Law National Aptitude Test) is the admissions test that UK universities including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, KCL, UCL, Bristol and Durham use to select undergraduate law students. It tests reading, reasoning and argument, not legal knowledge.
Cambridge requires the LNAT from 2027 entry onwards, so applicants to both Oxford and Cambridge now sit the same test by 15 October.
Multiple-choice questions on 12 argumentative passages. Your score out of 42 comes from this section.
Choose one of three questions. The essay is not scored centrally; universities read it themselves.

LNAT questions, answered
When should I sit the LNAT for Oxford or Cambridge?
For 2027 entry, book your test between 1 August and 15 September 2026 and sit it on or before 15 October 2026. Your UCAS application is due the same day.
How much does the LNAT cost for students in India?
The LNAT costs £120 at test centres outside the UK and EU, paid in GBP by card when you book. Rescheduling is free until 12 noon UK time two working days before your test. Fees are not refunded if you do not sit it.
Can I take the LNAT in India?
Yes. The LNAT is taken on computer at Pearson VUE test centres, including centres in India. You choose the centre and slot when you book.
Do I need to know law to take the LNAT?
No. The LNAT tests reading, reasoning and argument, not legal knowledge. Practice with the question style matters far more than law content.
How is the LNAT essay marked?
The essay is not scored by the LNAT itself. Each university reads it as part of your application, and Cambridge marks it centrally.
How long should I prepare for the LNAT?
We suggest starting at least two to three months before your test date. Our standard course runs about two months, with custom plans for tighter deadlines.
Is your LNAT coaching online?
Yes. All classes are taught live online, so students join from India, the UAE, Europe and South America.
Do you help with UCAS and university choice?
Yes. Our final module covers UCAS personal statement tips, choosing LNAT universities and interview preparation where required.
